Filmed during a live presentation weekend the aim of this course is to introduce the practitioner to the theory of the Testt® process, asymmetry in riders, and relate this to testing, intervention, exercise and evaluating the outcome. Andy presents in a clear and practical style, providing uncomplicated but effective solutions to common rider dysfunctions.

With over two and a half hours of video material, the module can be streamed for easy viewing and is supported by course notes in pdf format. Real riders, with real-time evaluation and real world solutions are presented. The aim is that practitioners can complete this course at their own pace and convenience and go on to use this knowledge in their working and riding practice.

Learners can work through independently to suit their own learning style. Completing this online module will give the viewer further knowledge skills and a better understanding of the human equestrian athlete and their impact on horse sport performance.

Andy has developed and refined the Testt® process during his 15 years working within elite equestrian sport (but having been a Chartered Physiotherapist for over 30 years). He brought with him a background of working in elite high performance, athlete education, and practitioner education, and of course his own experience as a competitive rider.

Pushing forward with training programmes that created stronger and fitter riders, he started to notice re-occurring patterns of movement and in particular "asymmetries", that held back both the rider and the horse. The understanding that the specialist demands of specific sports can create overload, overuse, dominance, weakness and imbalance is well-established in performance and rehab... but the practical application of this knowledge was lacking in the equestrian world.

He set about testing, trialling, researching and re-evaluating. He applied this developing methodology to both the elite and novice riders he worked with, and still works with. Over time he refined this into a "system" that could provide continuity and reliability for his own work, and for other practitioners, coaches and riders. With his background in education the natural next step was to produce resources, then to lecture, then to present workshops and CPD courses with the Testt® Process at their heart. He has gone on to present internationally and become one of the most well-established and respected lecturers in this field.
