Testt® Supported Riders
We are thrilled to provide Testt®️support to the following riders and their continuing pathway within equestrian sport.
Our passion is rider development from child to adulthood and all its key stages.
Our aim is to support symmetry - education - performance to our athletes to help them achieve their performance goals.
I am a 17 year old international dressage rider based at Sheepgate Equestrian, with my mum; Sarah Payne. I have previously ridden internationally with Beckhouse Cancara in Children on Horses and was placed 6th Individually at the European Championships in 2018.
I have since taken on the ride of Z Flemmenco who was previous ridden by Lottie Fry and have campaigned him at Junior level. Last year we purchased Woodcroft Bentley and he is co-owned by Ann Savage, he is a 5 year old that is currently training at Elementary and we’re really excited for his future.
More recently, I have taken on the ride with Woodlander Wavavoom whom I hope to campaign at Juniors in 2022. My goals next year are to compete at the regionals and nationals with my current horses and potentially compete at a CDI if the opportunity comes up but I’m currently just really enjoying the training at home and with Gareth Hughes and hope to push on through the levels a little bit more.
Christian Simonson is a young man with diverse interests, but his main passion is the sport of Dressage. Christian obtained his student’s pilot license at the age of 15, is an avid mountain biker, downhill skier, and has his open water PADI scuba certification. He recently started college online at the University of Texas, Austin where he is pursuing a degree in Business.
Inspired by his mother’s interest in riding , Christian discovered Dressage at the tender age of six. He quickly became the protégé of USDF Gold Medalist, Gail Hoff Carmona and when, by the age of 13, Christian was ready to start showing at a national level, began training under the tutelage of Olympian, Jan Ebeling in Moorpark, Ca . He subsequently won both the Gold Team medal and Silver Individual medal in the 2016 Adequan/FEI NAYC, and the Silver Individual medal at the 2017 Adequan/FEI NAYC. Additionally, he was awarded the USDF Bronze and Silver medal that year.
In 2018 Christian was invited to join the prestigious training program of Olympic Dressage competitor, and silver medalist Adrienne Lyle, and now spends his summers in Greenwood Village, CO and his winters training in Wellington, FL .
After securing three competitive horses, Christian was ready to show again and he didn’t disappoint. The season started out with bringing home the first ever YR Team Bronze medal after being selected to represent the US on the Young Rider European Tour at Hagen, Germany ‘s Future Champions Nations Cup as well as a second place individual finish.
Once back stateside it was off to represent Region 7 at the Adequan/FEI NAYC in Traverse City, Michigan where he won triple Gold medals in the FEI YR Team, Individual and Freestyle with his mount Zeaball Diawind shattering previously set records. It was then on to Wayne, Il where at Lamplight Equestrian park he became the 2021 US Young Rider Champion.
I am a 25-year-old international dressage rider, based in North Dorset. I have a small, self-contained yard set within a larger livery yard, so my horses benefit from all the great facilities they offer.
Since branching out on my own in 2018, I have been very fortunate to have the loyal support of Liz Rawlingson, a fantastic owner with her competition horses. And secondly I have some top class coaches guiding me in the right direction, including Olympian Carol Parsons and highly esteemed trainer Paul Fielder.
My highlight of 2021 was competing Liz’s Show Boy (Sunny) in the U25 Grand Prix at the Keysoe CDI3*. In 2022 Sunny will be 19, not that you’d know it! Our aim, therefore, is simply to have lots of fun, as we venture out at senior Grand Prix.
Another of Liz's up and coming horses is the very talented 13 year old Dragon Fly VCG. He’s had a few setbacks over the years, but is currently on good form and I’m hoping to compete him at Small Tour in 2022. I’d love to take him to a CDI at that level, whilst developing him up to Grand Prix.
I also have an exciting 5-year-old, co-owned with Liz and Lisa Trewin, called Week Orchard Leonardo. The world hasn't seen much of Leo yet, because he combines being super-sensitive with a very strong character! When we have mastered the basics and can guarantee some good behaviour, we will go to a party. Until then he is staying safely at home!
Alongside competing, the foundation of my business is producing a great variety of horses for my clients, from Shire crosses, to 13 hand ponies. I also enjoy teaching people of all ages and aspirations.
My philosophy has always been to work alongside the best professionals - from equine dentists to top farriers - to help me give my horses 5* care. I appreciate that as an important part of this is my own development, so I’m the best rider I can be. Andy and Testt® are an essential part of that development and I’m enormously grateful for their support.
I am a 12 year old dressage rider from Derby who has recently competed nationally.
I currently have two rides: Gwithian Percival and BKS Brandini. With Gwithian Percival, I have taken him from an inexperienced dressage career to competing at the Le Mieux Summer Nationals, coming 11th in a hot class of 45 combinations, plus Pet Plan Summer and Winter Area Festival Championships at Novice and Elementary level, winning our Novice Area Festival and 9th at the championships.
With BKS Brandini, I have recently made my FEI Children on Horses debut at the Aintree High Profile Show and plan to ride our first Medium test this year, and with more training and experience, we aim to compete internationally in the future and hope to be selected for a CDI in 2022.
